Thanks for the video I love watching them as you give real feedback. I'm looking forward to the next two. I was gonna buythe pearl but feel it's too close to the code black for me. I'm struggling to find my core bag but I love code black. Hopefully the original hyroad makes your listen but I may get the pearl to have as well.

Like I'm a huge fan of the videos but there's one thing I hate about all the ball reviews. I hate that I want a new ball(my wife also hates when I want a new ball) after every video you post

the T-road pearl and T-road solid preceded the Hy-Road, and the T-Roads used R2s.

Other a different name, is the Hy-Road pearl any different than the T-Road from 2006

Yes.  The blends of the covers change over time.  Most believe the hyroad changes year to year (batches) as they can't keep consistency with the covers.

I have read a few guys feel that current R2S (like what's on the code black) is close to what R2X was being it's not in production.

It's crazy don't think about it much...I just think over the years the r2s might change over time but it still slots the same in the line up.  Meaning the enitre line might get a slight bump over time, if the intent is to modernize the formula.  Like the to road pearl and hyroad pearl.
