Tommy Jones Question
« on: August 15, 2005, 04:34:18 PM »
I was wondering if any body knew where his PAP is. I was video taped and I noticed that we have really close release points. Same with Jason Couch. My coach had videos of the Ebonite Pro Staff and they all have some many vids like forward, side, behind, ect. then he has ones where they are calculating rev rate and I rev the ball just as much as Jones. The reason I want to find out his PAP is just to compare. Maybe also some has some pics of layouts he has used. Well thank you for your time.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i thought everyone's pap is five inches right of your center span (if you're a righty) and 1 inch up.  Are you sure pap was the word you were looking for?

Not to be rude but yeah, you're wrong.  PAP's can vary greatly.  They can range from 3" over to 6.5" and 3" up to 3" down.

Aren't you the chump that said the PWBA demise was a good thing and that if someone needs a wrist brace they should quit?

You clearly have no idea of what you're talking about.

If you really think that anyone that uses a brace should quit you are an idiot, because some of the best bowlers in history have used them and they were actually fairly common on tour at one time.
One person that comes to mind immediately is PDW should he have quit, I don't think so.

I think his PAP is not too far from his MAM.

Can someone please give me some useful info. What is his MAM? No clue what that is. And speedburner89 don't hijack this thread with your stupid little wrist support propaganda. Obviously you have no clue of what you are talking about by saying the wrist supports should not be allowed. And what's wrong with the women trying to win a PBA tournament. It's the best bowler win and if a women is the better bowler for the tournament then they should get the win. A good rule of thumb (is that right) is to RESPECT ALL BOWLERS and obviously you don't want any respect. Just giving my $.02.

Dyno, Andy gave you the most useful information about PAP in general.  I doubt if anyone here knows the specific info you're seeking.

Okay thanks again. Sorry I just don't "get" too many jokes lol. But I already knew what Andy was talking about. The reason I said useful is I was directing it to be something like one of Jones' or Couch's lay outs. Well thanks for your time.

Dyno, i thought my response was pretty cut and dry.  I was using a little thing called sarcasm to display that i think women on the pba is a GOOD thing, and last time i checked that was moving the women's rights movement ahead, not backwards.
