I hadn't wanted to get into the actual balls until we had discussed whether or how much of a skid/flip the guy would accept, but since someone already started the discussion ...
The Big SHot does seem to be that type of ball.
I suspect balls like the No Mercy, Mean Machine, Awesone Revs, and the Odyssey, with their very strong coverstocks and very strong cores would provide good potential for such a bowler.
These strong covers need 3000 - 4000 grit to get both enough surface to handle oil and fine enough to save up energy to make some kind of veyr strong turn.
I suspect they'd need to be drilled with no more than a 4" pin-PAP (as strokers have few revs), but high, like above the level of the bridge for length and flippiness.
