We've just heard, on another board, news that we have a hard time believing or fathoming.  If anyone has any knowledge would you please message me.

I only met her once, at a gathering in Ohio.  Very nice and friendly person.  Very sad news indeed.

This is truly horrible news.  I never met her personally, and only knew her from this board.  She seemed like a very nice lady.  My condolences to the family, and later, I shall raise a drink in honor of her memory.

Well, this sucks. I'm still in shock...

Colleen bowled the USBC national event with my team last year and was slated to bowl in Vegas with us this year, next year, and long into the future. The BR Gathering won't be the same without her, either. My wife, our teams, and I both will miss Colleen.

I was lucky to know Colleen on a personal level. For anyone who may not know, Colleen was also a very dedicated mother and school teacher. Life had been difficult for her recently, but she was fighting through everything with her hopes high and and nose to the grindstone, so to speak. And now this?

My thoughts an prayers go out to her family, friends, and the bowling community that know and love her. No more stone-7's my friend - rest in peace with better carry.

Ditto from me also. I have been away from this site for a while because of moving and just now saw this. I couldn't have said it any better than Jorge has here.

I posted this on another thread but maybe it will be read here more.

I'd like to see owners/mods of BR.com put up a memorial page or memorial section/blurb for users like Colleen....who have added so much to this website.  What say you BR.com users?

I was just talking to my wife about this last night.  We're still at a loss dealing with this, but we'll never forget the first time we met her, and how she grew into a close friend over the years since.  I'm all for it, and sooner or later Im going to write up my remembrances of her.

Who's going to rib me about coming in last now?  Who's going to do all the work to put together the Gathering?  This remains an incredibly difficult loss.

Very sad news indeed...she provided insightful information and was very knowledgeable...which is always appreciated and helpful to a fellow southpaw.  My condolences to her family and friends.

A very nice lady has left us, my condolences to her family. I'm sure the next 200+ game she bowls will be in Heaven.

Angie, how old was your mother?
