Title: Tips without grips

Okay i go through grips really quickly like every 30 games my grips need to be replaced.
And i know you can drill balls with fingertip drill but no grips and was wondering what are the advantages/disadvantages of this because its getting pretty expensive replacing my grips every 30 games.
