Title: TNBA Eastern Regional
Post by: Jesse James on November 14, 2012, 01:35:49 PM
Just wondering......anybody on here bowl in this past weekend's Eastern Regional tournament, in Delaware?

If so.....your thoughts, opinions, etc.!! How did you fare?

One of my buddies who bowled on Saturday nite, told a Hammer rep, "Nothing hits like a Storm!" right after he shot a 300 game!!  :o

Lol! I went shot 300 as well on saturday night on the 5 pm squad in the team house... with my Storm Crossroad. Wont be bowling it again thought. Very poorly run, late with money, horrible with keeping up with money and scores, and the officials can at times be rude and unwilling to listen to reason. Took them atleast 2 hrs per squad to payout house pots and brackets.
Mens team: 629
Mixed Team: 706, 300
Singles: 570
Doubles: 580 something.

ROFL!! Way to shoot man! Overall, from my perspective, those are some pretty good scores!

Yeah, this is about my fourth regional that I've attended and you are so right about the officials! Everyone in my group knows NOT to get in any of their pots, due to all the reasons you mentioned. Poorly run, meager pay-outs and even the brackets are poorly managed. One year I won 21 brackets, but had to wait 2.5 hours before getting paid. Pretty sad! But it is fun meeting folks from all over the country and seeing completely different styles of bowling!

Nonetheless, I had a ball for most of the weekend! Did you know they had a club at the Bowlerama Lanes?? (the wooden lane house)

Lol! Yea, the clubs been there. Didnt bowl late enough this year but last year shot 714, 703 in singles and doubles on the late squad. While I was bowling, I was drinking and partying too. Good fun, alas, could have used a few in the house this year.
