Thought I'd announce it, Im scoring better than ever so why not 😎...
It's still affiliated with storm but I'm slowly building a nice set up in 900 stuff!
Dream
Respect
Honey Badger
Respect pearl
Breakdown
Black Boost
Boo-yah
I got tons of storm and roto stuff to fill in any gaps in the mean time...but my THS and sport shots are covered, all except a flood.
I plan on trying to add a black ops and a covert ops in the future..I have a Azo cheater too which is a variation of the break core with sanded hyrbid cover. With those three I'll be pretty set 😎

MY MAN!

MY MAN!
I knew you'd like that!
-
Storm/Roto Grip is NOT all that anyway.....
-
Are you gonna rid yourself of the Storm pieces now?
-
Who knows. I've downsized quite a bit over the years especially while trying out 900 global. The only NEW price I really have is the HC fused, and nib PBA 60..
-
I honestly would put holes in a Covert ASAP.
-
Unless you’re on full staff, why would anyone limit themselves to just one company? Global, roto grip, and storm all make some great pieces. Plus everyone needs a hyroad in their arsenal. JMO!

No you don't, not when you can get a Badger!

VSP with a p4 is where it's at!

I love that people remember my posts!

Everyone needs the break core in their bag in my opinion.
-
If u read my post, I still have lots of storm and roto options.
I have 2 hyroads, an original and a '15
An IQ tour...
I'm not hurting. 😂
I never ever have the wrong equipment for a shot that's for sure....I'm just excited to toss something different.

I thought you were making fun of my post earlier in the week :o
I slapped a p4 in my VSP and it came to life. Plus 120 for 2 last week. But it's a small sample size. I would say Shock or Villain and VSP as my 2 current releases.

I want a black ops and then a covert...
And a dream on.
It never ends does it Doom?

Added a black boost, been looking for one for a while..

Black Boost is sneaky strong. A lot of performance for the price

Never. Slows sometimes, but never ends.

Boost is a very good piece. Had some big games on harder stuff with it and had some good runs on easier stuff on the fresh (higher friction environment). Have the Orange/Yellow one right now.

Honestly based off the original post, the Covert is a must with your favorite pin down layout. Anything to get that ball rolling slow down lane makes it the perfect option when lanes get cliffy or tricky overall. Its a good strong slow rolling orb that ive depended on since ive got holes in mine. (never had issues with it burning up, even with some surface)
For the high end shiny, I don't think you can go wrong with a Inception Pearl. Its the perfect middle ground between a quick high end asym shiny but still a controllable big ball motion.
If for any reason you want more options, the Dream On is a nice option as well as the Original Truth Solid/Pearl. Either one of the OG Truths are super good benchmark pieces that work well within the line if you can find one.
-
No mention of the X2? That is nice rolling benchmark from what I understand. Pretty versatile.
-
Breakdown is a control ball with enough surface, and the comment about the pin down Covert is spot on. I've had most of my Break core balls 5*65 and anywhere from 1000 to 4000 and never had a problem with it burning up early. S70ish is strong enough to respond downlane but won't hook at your foot unless you're in the dirt.

I'm in the process of getting rid of all my Storm/RG equipment. Too many people throwing it around here (some nights 4+ of the same ball on the rack). I've gone back to throwing Motiv, but I also have some 900 Global balls (Monster included). I feel like a mix between those two companies will serve me best. I also have the two Hammer Rip'd balls.
I love the Shadow Ops. So much so that I can retire my Hot Cell that I shot 300/800 with. It's not quite as strong, but I feel it is more versatile. That added resin and RG tweak is perfect. Allows it to shape more than the Hot Cell. I'm thinking I "need" some more Ops balls in my bag. Also looking to get the Badger.
Currently I have the Shadow Ops and Honey Badger. Also the Lochness Monster, Kraken and Boogieman from Monster. Don't really need any more balls, but I enjoy trying out different ones. The best ones end up in my tournament line up. I really only need two balls on a house shot.

EVERYONE NEEDS A BAG FULL OF OPS!@!!

Just shot 704 in bowlers journal, (Syracuse)with black ops@1000 abralon. Good for 4th right now in senior division. What a piece. Ball should be a factor for d/s at nationals since it’s the same pattern. Hear they may be even tighter because of the fresh surface. Gonna go on eBay right now and stock up on these black ops before they disappear.
