Anyone's that's tried them. For dry sanding by hand versus abralon or other brands, how do they stack up?

I ordered a 1000 and 2000 pad and just got them in the mail today actually feels like the 2000 pad is rougher than the 1000 so we'll see.

Wanted to give an update to this topic. I bought a single 500 grit pad to test. I'm not a Hickland fan, understand it's a Jost pad, and in the interest of full disclosure I freely admit I like dry sanding better than wet and I still insist you get a different result.
Having said all that. Wow. All those worried about resin dust be careful on this one. I've never seen so much dust in the air after using it. The pad does feel different, and I'm definitely impressed with the cut, at least at 500. I have no idea on durability, but if I can even get three uses of this for a bulk price pad, I'll be using them. Our sport league was 48 feet and although I think it wasn't consistent this week, I could see a difference in my Sure Lock between last week and this.

More to come and would like to hear form others, but first impression is positive so far....

I brought this back for another update. I stand by the first update. For the first cut, I've never seen anything cut this well. For the second ball, it lost a bit. For the third ball, it lost even more. Not sure about durability, but doesn't feel like it. I don't care what Hickland or Lane Side Reviews says, you can't just knock the dust off, either. I'm throwing the BS flag on that, at least in my test. NOt sure I'd spend even bulk price for 1-2 really good cuts... My sport league is 36 and 33 for the next 4 weeks, so won't be doing much more testing until league.......
Just FYI. I'd like to hear other thoughts?

Thanks for the update. So what would you recommend over these for adjusting surface by hand?
