The spoiled rich kid:
1. I was visiting a pro shop and a kid comes in with 6 or 7 balls, all of them massacred. "My parents bought me a spinner for Christmas and I've been practicing"
2. A kid walks into my brother's pro shop and says he wants a new Jigsaw. here's the catch he only throws a 12lbs ball. My brother tries to explain to him he is really wasting his money and lite weight equipment uses different weight blocks, and he can get the same reaction out of a less expensive ball. Nope Mm and Dad say I can buy this one, I want this one.

One release only guy - palms the ball and sprays it everywhere...gets everything from the good strike to lucky strike to splits. But when he has to convert the 10 pin he's not changing his shot so proceeds to crank it at the 10 pin. Goes in the gutter or hits where the 9 pin would be. Sometimes that same guy will use a plastic spare ball and still does the same thing.

Dam, do you bowl in my league on Thursday nights?  We have a few guys like that.  No thumbers cranking at everything....  LoL!

Many of mine overlap with Crusty's list, but here are a few more:

  • The house rat that complains about other house rats.


  • The guy who worked all day and couldn't be bothered to at least make an attempt at throwing on some deodorant before bowling.


  • Women who come to watch bowling and b!tch that it's too cold in there.


  • Anybody who uses ez-slide.


  • The people who come up to me during bowling and think I should stop bowling and open up the pro shop for them.


  • People that tell me their ball has a "modified RICO drilling" on it.


  • Right handed donks who always complain that the left side is "money", yet couldn't hit the same arrow twice in a row to save their soul.


  • The one guy in the league you never make eye contact with, but always comes up to you like you're his best friend when all you want to do is stab him with a pencil.

people that tell you that they dont have all night when they are bowling a slow team. i thought the idea of bowling league for a lot of people was to have a night out with friends and hang out. not to bowl as fast as they can. what, do you have a bed time or something?

I have a couple of these guys in my Monday league. The guy is invariably around us and even when he isn't, he comes and finds us.

My personal fav---
"I have to knock anyone who doesn't use their thumb because obviously they know nothing".

Obviously, alot of NOTHUMBer's are clueless. Very true. But I have a newsflash for you----SO ARE ALOT OF GUYS WHO USE THEIR THUMB. Food for thought, not that it changes your mind---because the instant thought is "well he's a NOTHUMBer what does he know...".

My 2nd fav based on frustration---
"The Bowler who should be a poker player". Because every night/game/frame has a bad beat story.

The bowler who thinks they should bowl 200 every game even though they never practice.

The guy who is bowling half way good and you're just waiting for him to miss because you just know he is going to lose it and explode
