HELP!! Ball suggestion for my boss....

He doesn't bowl much....but is currently throwing a red hammer ala` mid 1990's vintage.

He doesn't want to spend a lot of money....bowls on a fresh med-med/hvy house shot,...pretty standard...I'm looking for ball choice suggestions for him in the mid-priced range.....

I have a few ideas....but wanted the BR gang to throw some opinions in....

I know there a lot to choose from.....but.....

btw....stroker....about 150-160 average........

Well, something Low rg, maybe a Brunswick Nemesis, or a Diablo from storm.  You could go with the Blue Heat from Track or the Slash...Ti Messenger Low RG from columbia or to stick with hammer a Razor Blade or Switch Blade.

Brunswick Power Groove Black Particle.
Cheap and good for medium-heavy oil for old time stroker, for old time any-style.

Good pick Charlest, good friction but with controlled hook, I think I'd sell that customer the same thing (for heavier oil) based on the fact that his last ball is a red hammer....

PS. Jeff, so if he doesn't like it, will you still have a job?...

Jeff, maybe you should buy it for him and think of the benefits....Big raise, more time off, more sick leave, both start and quit earlier in the day and etc....

charlest, your suggestion is a good one, no doubt!  Unfortunately I don't have many details....you know what I know at this point.  I'm going to send him over to King of the mill this week!  I've primed the pump, he knows he's coming over there,....he knows his price point...I'll let King take care of this!

However....all suggestions are noted, and they are all good ones,...thanks !!

Jeff,

You were thoughtful to try to pull a "rabbit out of the hat" for him. Plus it's good politics. Letting kotm take care of his needs is best.

Well,...when your'e sitting on the plane with him and he asks what magazines you have .....I gave him the option,...he chose BTM .....and then the questions started flying...and the entire trip was bowling related !

Heck yes....all KOTM has to do is watch him throw a few.....he'll hook him up, not only with a perfect fitting/drill, but a ball that will work for HIS game!

YEP...I'm stayin' out of this one !
