Update on my Twisted....
« on: January 18, 2008, 02:13:39 PM »
So from the last topic, I had a TF drilled #3 layout, skidded too much, my pro shop guy said to try the drilling, if i didn't like it or it went too long, he'll replace it. I sanded it to 2000 as was suggested, and it still skids, so I'm finally gettin another one. I'm figuring out what happened, when it dawns on me that my specs, 15-16mph, rev dominant over 400 rpm, and i am a high tracker. The ball was drilled for a medium tracker. So I'm thinking this may be a cause. My next idea for this ball on a THS is either a label drill, pin just up and right of ring (rh), mb just left of thumb. Or to again have the pin up and right of ring, but the mb about 1" right of thumb. I'm assuming pin to pap, which would be about 4 1/2", is the primary influence, while mb helps shape the reaction. mb on the trackside, and it's more controlled, but may lose carry. Again i'm hoping my revs helps to offset this. Or put the mb in the sharp breakpoint position, and get possibly better carry due to angle. Any thoughts?
