urethane vs. resin
« on: November 10, 2011, 04:03:38 AM »
I would like to know both the advantages and disadvantages in using urethane equipment.I practiced on wednesday after posting a horrible score on tuesday. I used a urethane ball from my locker 16 lb . I normally throw 15lb. It just seems that I can control the urethane better than I can any resin equipment. Is there a layout I might want to try with a weaker ball (resin) or should I maybe try to drill up an avalanche, grenade, or a natural? I did not see any difference in pin carry or the way urethane hit. And I scored!! better. The ball I was using was a ebonite gyro dark green color, a little bit on the polished side with pin down. Probably from the 90's. Thoughts please!
