SrKegler Update
« on: August 03, 2007, 03:05:44 AM »
I want to make sure as many people see this as possible.  I also realize this is not directly bowling related, but it is about one heck of a bowler and one of our more veteran members, so I took the chance of also posting in this forum.

I just heard from SrKegler. It is tough on him right now. He lost his brother and is feeling the loss deeply. I feel he really needs our love and support. He asked me to let everyone know he is okay, just has little energy since the funeral.

He thought about attending The Gathering, but was concerned he would not be good company. He is hoping in a year things will be different and he will join us.

He may not be posting, but he is reading so please. If you can find it in your heart to add to this post with a message to him to let him know just how much we all care about him, I think it will go a long way to help him.

Sr,
This is sad news, indeed.  I offer my most sincere condolences to you and your family.

I hope you get everything worked out and are able to move on with your life.  I'm sure your brother would want it that way.

I echo the sentiments, also.  You are missed.  Diane and I are looking forward to someday bowling with you again.

I am so sorry that my wife and I cannot make it over to the USA this year.

The past 2 years have been the best 2 holidays of our lives. To meet up with SrKegler and his family the first time and spend some time with him at his home and centre were terrific but to do the same thing this last year was even better.

It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know him and his lovely wife and then to have a little get together of our own down in Orlando with several other great ballreview members has MADE the holidays such special times.

I did know about Darolds brother as we talk fairly regularly by Email, it was expected but was still a very sad time for them all and for me and my wife as we really took the family to our hearts as they did with us.

I can only tell you that this year will be less for not getting the chance to visit the "FIRST" bowling family from Jacksonville.
