Shoe Covers
« on: December 21, 2015, 10:20:04 AM »
These are something I've been looking at buying for some time now but keep putting off.   Now I'm ready to buy some and have been looking at all the different brands and reading all the reviews and the more I read the more the reviews get mixed, regarding quality and sizing.  Seems like most people say you should buy one size larger than what the sizing chart says you need.  And it seems Brunswick gets the worst reviews when it comes to quality.

So who makes a good quality shoe cover and does the sizing run true or should I expect to go one size larger?  Some of the brands I've looked at are Motiv, DV8, Linds, Storm, Brunswick and Robbys.

Thanks!!

Don't get the MOTIV ones....they run small and rip. Love their equipment, but this is the one thing I have been disappointed with.

My Storm ones ripped within a few weeks of use.  The TPU-X ones seem really big and doesn't fit well but are really nice.  I use a plain black one, doesn't even have a name on it and don't even know how I got it, but have had it for a couple of years already (I know, that doesn't help).

A friend of mine, mr. el-cheap-o, uses a pink shower cap and has been using it for years!  Looks pretty dumb but it gets the job done!

After, I don't know, several years, I still use the orginal covers for my sst 8's. The year the black and red first came out is when I got those shoes. Only now it's tearing at the seems. I'm looking at the NFL ones on eBay for my Seahawks. I'm not sure how long those will last though..

I sold storm shoe covers 4 years ago and the guys are still using them, if this helps any.

I didn't have any for years, I always took my shoes off to go to the bathroom.  Then I found my ex-wife's covers and I tried them a couple times, but I always stuck anyway, after using the covers.

I got new shoes last year that came with fancy covers, so I tried them, and I stuck after using them, so I just went back to going into the bathroom in my socks.

Probably my imagination I was sticking, but, that was my perception.
