the vice protection tape colors which ones are ranked from courses to smoothest .......  Thanks.

From least to most friction: Blue, Red, Aqua(Green), Gray

It could be a personal thing, but I've never felt that much difference in the Vise colored thumb patches. Maybe it's because I don't have any tape on the back of my thumb hole.
