Great Wall of China Kegel pattern, Anyone?

Anyone bowl on this pattern? Got a tournament coming up using this pattern. Checked  it out, 48 ft with 25 mils. They say it’s one of the easier, higher scoring Kegel patterns. I would imagine using a more aggressive ball and playing in because of the length would be the way to attack it. Just wondering if anyone can give me some feedback on this, and if you’ve bowled on it. What was your plan of attack? What ball did you use?

I'd use something with a very fast response to friction. Black Ops, Dream On, HB.

Strong ball, high pin, fast response to friction. No need for early balls with surface.

What the other posters said. Use quick response balls with very little surface. It will play tight on the fresh but the heads and mids will burn up something ugly if you use a lot of surface plus the ball will bleed energy terribly before it reaches the backend. Keeping the ball in front of you on the fresh is also important. There is not much recovery on misses to the outside even if you have a lot of hand but on the other hand, there is almost infinite hold on misses inside.

Thanks for the response, input guys. I have plenty of high pin, quick response balls. My conspiracy pearl should be perfect for what you guys describe. And doom, I never leave home without my black ops.

Depending on what squad you're bowling, you can play out on that pattern in that building.  The fronts will also get pretty toasty there, especially with the traffic expected. With only 32 lanes I'd expect 5 on a pair for that tourney

Use your strong stuff. I used a Halo and/or Physix when I bowled on it.  The pattern will get super over/under as it breaks down.  Not sure what the surface you are bowling on is but the higher the friction it is, the harder it will get as the block progresses. 

I had best luck keeping angles tight and ball speed down playing the oil line.
