Title: Vise Inserts Sizing
Post by: DJsully20 on January 20, 2020, 03:05:52 AM
Hi all! So I just had a quick question about what would be the first available smaller size from 27/32? Oh and it has the # 5 on the insert as well. For some reason the pro shop that drilled my new stuff he put what seems like all the same size inserts on 2 of my balls but on the other 2 the ring finger is loose? Kinda odd?

next size smaller would be a 53/*64 or a 4.5

Are you sure it isn't a 9 on the insert?  27/32 is 9.  23/32 is 5.

I've actually had an issue lately with some of my Vise inserts being bigger than normal. I even went to swap out grips thinking the size was off due to swelling but it was the correct size and different fit than an older pair I had sitting around

Something to note How sharp or dull the drill bit is the PSO's used to drill the holes can affect the feel of the size or if one shop used a 31/32" vs a 61/64" bit can make the same size grips feel different.

If you go in to get grips put in, have them put in without gluing them first. Try your fingers in to see how they fit and adjust if needed.

Thanks for everyones input! So I'm sure it's a 5 because I have the insert out of the ball and it clearly says 5, whats not clear however is the other size it has printed on the grip. Unfortunately the grip was cut at the number to fit in the hole (I'm assuming). All I can see is a /32 so I have no idea what that other number would be?
