Do lower differential bowling balls work for low rev players? When do lower differential bowling balls come into play and for what players do high differential bowling balls work best?

Lower diff equipment can work for bowlers with lower rev rates, but you do need to be aware of their limitations in that situation. Often a lower diff ball with surface works, a shiny or really clean surface with lower diff will squirt or boomerang.
I often start with a lower diff ball on fresh, hooking conditions where I don't want a really strong reaction. If I can find something that carries for me, I start with it, knowing that as soon as I start seeing flat corners or blower corners, I may need to go to a stronger core in order to follow the pattern breakdown and continue to carry. Sometimes you can slowly chase a pattern in with that lower diff, sometimes it just won't work, and it is up to you to make that decision. Generally I try to keep lower diff equipment in front of me as much as possible so that it doesn't have to shape as much before it gets to the pocket.

But I recently switched houses and found myself on a shorter/lower oiled pattern. but I did have a green/blue centaur for that! It reminds me of ebonites V-2 dry, a particle ball made for drying lanes! It went straighter that my pearl jolt!

I'm a low rev/ low speed player also and prefer lower RG and higher differential balls. Those type balls in the Motiv line of balls work great for me, but are becoming fewer and fewer to select from in their ball line-up which is forcing me to look elsewhere for balls with lower RG's and higher differentials. What I do like about Motiv which the other ball companies fail to do is that they use the same size and shape core in ALL weights of their balls plus their ball covers seem to absorb less oil and last a long time, but as said, their selection of low RG and higher differential balls is becoming more limited fo bowlers like myself.
