Was gifted some new (to me) equipment

About a month ago a couple of friends who have dropped to 14# balls gave me 3 of their good 15# balls to use, a Motiv Venom Shock, a Radical Conspiracy, and a Brunswick Prism Hybrid.  Wow, all 3 of these roll GREAT.  I'm about a 195 THS league bowler, and have rolled about 4-5 700+ series over the years, always using Storm or Roto older equipment.  But in the month I've had these, I've rolled 3 700+ series, surprisingly 1 with each ball. I can see why these balls have been popular, especially the Venom Shock & the Conspiracy.  Now if only our local bowling houses would open back up so I don't have to drive 40 miles to bowl.....

40 miles? Consider yourself grateful.

Right now our closest open bowling alley is in Salt Lake City, and that's if we're lucky. I'm in NorCal; all of Nevada is still shut down, last I heard Oregon is shut down, and I'm assuming SLC still has something open. Regardless, it's a 10+ hour drive, so I'd honestly take 40 miles.

But was the gear you received NIB? If not, then you should see how those work when they are NIB for you or fresh off the press.

They were all used, but in great shape with low games on them, and covers haven't been changed.  Very happy with them.  Based on your area, 40 miles doesn't seem bad at all.  Just glad I can still bowl.   ;)
