My car smells like a pro shop
« on: September 04, 2003, 11:44:11 PM »
I finally got a Vertex spinner this summer, and I have been busily preparing all my bowling balls for the new season.  Last night after dark I loaded up my full arsenal plus a few bowling balls that are going to other folks in the back of my car, since my season starts tonight.  Today, the inside of the car smells like a combination of Renew-It, Hook-It, Storm Step Two, Storm Step Three, Ebonite Quicksand, Ebonite 2000, and perhaps most formidably--Black Magic.

It's an intoxicating combination of vapors.  I just hope it isn't flammable.

I too have about 25 bowling balls in my car, with all my cleaners and such.  Personally I love the way new bowling equipment smells, and the longer I can keep it that way the better.  As with you I too am greated hello by that fresh scented Ultimate Black Magic.  Although the excessive weight has become an issue on my car as of late.  (I had no time to unload since I moved)

You said that & all I thought of was an ashtray.

At the pro shop i used to go to, they all sat around smoking cigarettes, had people in the shop on a couch shooting the ship, smoking. Heck even the guy drilling the balls had a cigarette hanging out of his mouth while he was
drilling.

I don't go there anymore.

Ty, as much time as you spend at the pro shop smelling that pro shop smell, has intoxicated you. lol That is probably you buy so many balls every year.
