My situation is in the hands of the owner right now so I do not want to elaborate but I will in the very near future for a good or bad outcome.

Buddies has always gone above and beyond for me. I have also had successful transactions with bowling.com and blockbusterbowling.com

I always check the prices of these three against each other and order from the least expensive. In my experience, depending upon the combination of items purchased the cheapest price could be any of them. If price is the same at all three Buddies would get my business because of previous extra efforts on their part.

Wild Octopus - purchased 3 balls in the past, got my specs and quick delivery.
Buddies - purchased 5 balls in the past, got my specs and quick delivery.
Blockbuster - buy all my cleaners and polishes from them, no problems.

I believe that a better question would be ... which online stores have you found to be UNRELIABLE ??? I figure that most are pretty cool or they wouldn't still be in business. My 2 cents ...

Well after reading some of the posts and realizing that some people have turned this into a professional wee-wee measuring contest, I figured what the F! I'm in.  I can only tell you from my experiences.  I have dealt with Buddies, and IMO they are top notch.  Good prices and fast shipping.  But they go above and beyond that.  I had been Emailing them with questions instead of playing tag Chris asked for my number and called me minutes later.  We talked for 30 mins. on some different ball choices and reactions.  It was 10 P.M. too.  And I am located on the East Coast like they are.

Doug Sterner (Dougsproshop.net) has been my go to guy.  He may not be able to beat Buddies with prices but he makes that up in his customer service.  Doug goes out of his way to make sure his customers are happy.  If there's a problem he fixes it.  Never had a problem though.  I will only buy balls from him.

Well I guess it's up to you.  If you think you're getting a good deal then go for it.  I just don't like to take risks and get burned.  Buddies and Doug are dependable.

Buying on line requires some degree of hope and trust.

I have had good experiences with: BuddiesProShop, BeansProShop, bowlingball.com, Wild Octopus, bowlbetternow.com, and fellow poster Iketown300.

I have purchased balls from bowlingball.com more often than not because he has a huge presence on ebay and I enjoy the auction.

BuddiesProShop and bowlingball.com are offering great prices that include shipping on several balls that are current production.  I didn't take advantage of buddies sale on the RS-P, and the RS-X, and I wish I had, and I wish there could be a similar sale on Dynothanes' Centrifical Mass.

Anyway,  several of the proshops are represented on this forum by both employees and owners, and I am sure you would have a good experience with any of them.

I haven't had a truly bad experience with any of those I have mentioned - one may ship a little faster that the other, one may have great after sale comunication and another not.  Bottom line - I have always received what I ordered from all of them.
