Finally broke down and bought me a second Hy-Road which I haven't decided if I am going to drill different than my current one (which with a balance hole may need plugging anyway eventually) or keep NIB to someday replace it. Its the first ball so awesome (GOAT for THS is the truth) I had to re-buy it of the 30 or so I have bought so far. Just curious what balls other people have re-bought and also if anyone has multiple different drillings of Hy-Roads and whether glad they did it?

Hustle INK. Never thought I’d buy duplicates but my INK has been reliable for me in league and I just got so comfortable throwing it. Especially when it went on sale a few weeks back for $72 I didn’t hesitate lol.

Mine is on its way as well. Probably not the type of ball I re-buy (tend to need stronger pieces with my style) but definitely worth having at least one in the arsenal especially at that price point. Have a lot of low RG and even more high RG (love 2 piece) but good medium RG pieces aren't always easy to find.

Hustle Ink for me also. My first was drilled pin down. I liked it so much I drilled a 2nd one drilled pin up. The pin down is 1000 which I really like as my benckmark. First time I ever purchased 2 of the same ball. I'll be looking to add more Roto pieces in the near future.

I have multiple multiples (is that right?)
I have a NIB Clutch Pearl to go along with my drilled one, a Freight Train because I never really figured out that core, a Mamba Hybrid and green because I like the Src core from the Banks, a second Look, and had 2 incinerates and 2 night hawk SE before I gave my brother 1 of each.
Coming up, I plan on drilling 2 Covert Ops. One 50*5*65 and one 45*4*30 with lots of surface. Will also get one or 2 more Dream Ons.

Bought a second IQ Tour and Sky Rocket (first ones were used off my buddy) and drilled this season. IQ mainly stays home waiting for when I get back to tournaments. Sky Rocket I use in one dry house when I ball up from my Ink.
Hustle Ink bought a couple used ones end of 2017 and love one which is my primary ball in one house. Other one hasn't been touched yet.
Motiv Ghost bought to use this season but haven't drilled as my buddy gave good deal on his at beginning of season.
Coulmbia Deep Freeze, love it when really dry and bought a couple new ones on Ebay this season as back ups since it hasnt been produced in years.

I carry 2 OG HyRoads wherever I go. Right around 4 inches pin down and 5 inches pin up. Both have about the same surface; lightly scuffed up with 2k before every match. I would rather use 3k instead but I keep procrastinating on buying some more abralon pads.
I am a naysayer when I read articles saying pin location doesn't have that much of an affect on ball motion. My two HyRoad's couldn't be more different.

Usually if I rattle off a few 300s/800s with a ball I try and snag a 2nd one. Usually it's long after it's discontinued.
I have tho with the vivid, Azo area check, hyroad, rogue cell, hammer no mercy beat'n, c300 formula (3), and probably a few others.

I've had multiple Hy-Roads, Marvel Pearls, IQ Tours. I have a second Wipe Out to drill at some point since my current one is quite best up (still rolls well though).

New Hy-Road Pearl coming soon after wearing one down then making a span changing and not wanting to plug and re-drill it. I'll end up with another IQ Tour as well since my current is a second drill and is getting some heavy use.

I dont have multiple anything but Ive been really thinking about picking up another street fight and drilling it just like the one I have. That ball has been so good at any surface for me I cant go wrong

I have 3 GB2's and 2 Legion Solids that I throw a mix of 90% of the time.

I have never liked 2 of the same ball. I always end up loving one reaction and hating the other. Tried it many times and just can never keep 2 of the same in the bag

I honestly think how much pin location matters is somewhat style dependent as well as skill dependent. If you are really consistent then fine tuning ball motion and carry is important. If you are spraying the ball all over the place you can drill the thing for a full roller and it will hardly matter. I am fairly consistent but for my style I have found layouts to not matter as much as it does for others. Never did a 1" pin 2 pap on a reactive so with-in reason.

2- 900 Global Black Eagles, one drilled and one NIB
2- Motiv Venom Shocks, one pin up and one pin down
2- Motiv Forza GT's, one drilled and one NIB
Also had 2 Motiv Chronic Paranoia's, but both completely cracked. Really liked the ball, but could not muster the courage to buy a third one. (Note: only Motiv ball that ever cracked on me.)

I am with you on that! I had a Cuda-C that I absolutely LOVED! Nothing hit like that ball ever!!
