What do I need to do...
« on: October 15, 2003, 06:08:46 AM »
Lately when bowling I have been leaving an awful lot of 7 pins on what seem to be good hits. I know that there is something wrong if I am not carrying all 10 or flushing them into the pit. Where do I need to move or what do I need to adjust in order to carry the 7 pin. For those who are lazy and wont read my profile, I am a RH bowler.

Rock I feel your pain on this one, I know it all too well.

Mostly if you're hitting solid I'd be inclined to say it's a bad rack.  I find coming in light will often leave me a seven pin.  I guess it's more or less a weird angle that will leave the seven.  If that's a similar case with you, I'd try moving back and inch, slow your ball speed down a hair, put a touch more revs on the ball, move right .25 or .5 of a board.  Most of the time the adjustments for any single pin in the back row should be the same, except when you totally destroy the pocket, it's usually a bad rack.

In the old days people used to cut wood with axes.....................now and days...............they just have Executioners do it for them!

Pin_Krusher IS a serious threat to modern day bowling wood as we know it today.
