Good tourney Arsenal?
« on: September 14, 2007, 06:31:23 AM »
Just wondering what you guys think of this tourney arsenal. I am trying to keep it to 6 balls but cover all conditions from flood to desert to anything in between. Any gaps? Balls to handle carrydown? I bowl in houses all over the state and many different shots. Let me know what you think.

I can't speak to most of the individual balls that you have, but I can give some general thoughts.  For most tourney shots I prefer a solid reactive that is smooth throughout the lane, not very flippy.  Tourney shots, for me, are most often not a carry contest, but more a challenge to not give the pocket away.  I like a ball that I know will react very consistently and not take off when it hits the dry.

Mr. Lebowski, this is Bill Salnicker with the Southern Cal Bowling League, and I just got a, an informal report, that a member of your team, uh, Walter Sobchak, drew a firearm during league play. If this is true of course, it contravenes a number of the league's by-laws, and article 27 of the league...
