New videos and reviews: Defiant Edge and Fire Road
« on: June 30, 2012, 05:10:00 PM »
We had 3 testers, cranker (565 rpm), tweener (360 rpm), and stroker (300 rpm) test these balls on THS and Sport shot.

We compared the Fire Road to the Crossroad, Marvel Pearl, and Frantic.
We compared the Defiant Edge to the Defiant.

We talk about it in the review a bit.  Basically they appear to have similar strength.  The main difference is the shape of the hook.  The Critical Theory has more defined transitions and a really strong backend motion.  The Defiant Edge will have overall smoother transitions while still having a relatively strong backend.  Both covers seem pretty strong and can be used on medium-heavy conditions.  If you've got good revs, they'll even be usable on heavy volumes.
