Have you ever bowled in a condition where no matter how many revs you get on the ball it just does not hook??

I have had this problem one time. I threw off the corner and aimed for the pocket the ball held its line. Did u try slowing sown the ball speed? And which balls to u use?

"Flood" is relative. I have played on/in soup conditions or with balls which were much to weak for the oil condition at hand. Best bet I found was either to play straight and hard towards the pocket with slipping equipment or reduce ball speed and increse revs with appropriate but too weak balls.

There's always a playing solution for the lane condition at hand. Just be creative and read the lanes.

Once, the pattern was 38 ft, buff was to 50ft.  Nothing moved, HPH, HPD, werewolf...and I am not a fluffer or someone with rocket speed.  It was a point and pray, shooting weak 10's all night.
