What if

You ordered a 15lb bowling ball. and you got a 14 11oz ... what would you do. Do you think you could notice. Would you be mad ?

That's a little light.  I'd consider it a mid weight ball.  That's enough that I'd notice.  I'd either send it back or demand a substantial discount.  No grips and no weight hole and you could still be above 14.5#, grips, slug, + a weight hole and you would probably be 14# 4-6 oz.

That's more than 5oz under weight, considering that most stuff sold as 15# is 15.0-15.4#.  I can't believe someone wouldn't notice that weight difference.  14.14# or 14.15#, I would not have a problem but that's a pretty big difference.

All of my equipment is 15 lb, and I just received a used ball that is 15-1/2.
I can DEFINITELY feel the difference.
I can still throw it just fine, but I CAN feel the difference.
I knew it as soon as I pulled the ball from the box.

It makes a difference.  That's actually a heavy 14, and when you drill it it might not me heavier than 14.5lbs.  Complain.

That IS a little far off.  I believe that, if it were me, I would request a replacement for it.

I got a ball that was 15 and 15 oz.  I throw 16.  It feels heavier than my other stuff.
