Title: What is high Avg in your league? Tag along with 300 thread.

Currently, top 3 avgs. in my league are 240, 235, 232.

3 years ago they were 223, 223, 220.

guy on my team is at 242. We bowl at Taylor Lanes in Michigan. He's shot one 300 along with a 299 already this year.

On my women's league the high average is 192. She also has a 753 series and a 736 this year, back to back. I think it is great, but many of the "lower average" women are not happy. They are also a new team on the league.  Their  averages are 192, 188, 183 and 176. They have to give up so many pins it's sick.

High average is... 190 :/  One guy averaged 201 last year, he averaged over 225 in another house.  Most people from other houses complain that the lanes are not maintained properly, however they are, there just isnt the great wall of china out there.  I personally like the challange ave 180 atm.

last year i finished at 242 and 240, the next guy was 238 and 228

this year the lanes have tightened up a little

High avg. in my Friday(5-man, 90% of 235) is 217(me), 210 or so is 2nd.
On my Tuesday(4-person, 780 cap, scratch) it's 208(me), 205 or so is 2nd.
Friday is my home house, Tuesday is a different house.
High average in both houses is in the lower 220's.

I believe it's 224. There are a few in that range. I'm creeping on them at 210.

218 - a 14 year old lefty

This is a junior scratch league BTW

And the only 300 is by the lefty 14 year old who also set some kind of record 2 weeks ago by throwing back to back 300's for his School.

In my junior league. . .

High averages- 222, 201(me), 198
High Games- 280, 279, 279, 279(I shot one of the 279's.)
High Series-746, 741, 709. Followed by 703 and 692(me)

I am nowhere near the handicap highs. I havent had handicap during the entire league. I wonder what it feels like to have handicap. . .

Mondays 5 man league wood house: 228, 225, 223 (I'm the 225).

high avg in my league is mine with a 179  high game 247 also mine

high avg in house is 203   hardest shot in local association different oil pattern every week sometimes every lane never a wall to bounce off of  we go to other houses and bowl big games and sets

League averages are getting ridiculously inflated. Am I the only one who remembers a time, when the guy who could maintain a 200+ avg was considered a god?

A guy on my team is at 243 at our house.  This is his first time bowling at our house.  He owns the City Record in Battle Creek MI @ 880 290-300-290..  He has 2 800's this year at our place, 3 or 4 in Battle Creek, and set the City record this year for # of 3's in a year @ 6...   Next closest avg is my dad on Monday with 230..  I am at 227 on Wed and 229 on Sat.  and is good for like 4th high I think

I'm still in a youth league and it's the only league I'm in. My current average which has been my highest is 190. It is the highest in my league. It should be at least ten pins higher but just to show you how bad the lanes are and everything, there has only been one 300 game bowled in 56 years.

We have one men's league in town. This list is the top 10 averages out of 50 bowlers. I am the secretary and copied these right from my secretary program. It is a tough shot with what has been desribed as "hot lane beds."
