Final Grit Equivalent
« on: October 30, 2016, 08:27:19 AM »
If the factory finish is 500/1000 Abralon, then Powerhouse Factory finish polish.
What is the final grit equivalent?  Would 500/1000/4000 be close?

Not necessarily.
Given that polish is just another abrasive, actually a micro-abrasive, how much you apply, how hard your press and for how long determines the final grit level. Low to medium amounts of the previous "pieces" of the process should give you something on the order of 4000 - 4500 grit. Medium to large portions of them can take the final grit level to 5000 - 5500 grit level.
