I have the Vertex 1/2 HP.
I am very happy with it.
I use it after every session to clean my balls (funny no matter how many times I say it). I have also used it many, many times to adjust the surface of my equipment.

I actually talked quite a bit with a guy at vertex mold.  He was telling me about some of the other spinners, telling the good & bad, not just bashing.

According to him, for professional use, the 1/2hp innovative 2speed is probably the best.  Mainly because u can secure it to the solid wooden tub shops use.  He says the donkee is a POS & is actually owned by a new company now, its not donkee anymore, but it does still shake a bunch.

After talking to him, & telling him how i typically sand or polish(i tend to put alot of weight on the ball to get some heat going), he said definately get the 1/2hp, the extra power will keep it from bogging down with the pressure.

Also, according to him, he hasnt had 1 single motor come back dead.  He got 1 that they thought was the motor & it turned out to be some type of solenoid switch, not the motor at all.

IMO thats a damn good track record.

Get the vertex 1/2hp, its still cheaper than the donkee, or right at the same price i think, & MUCH cheaper than any of the innovative spinners.
