Why play cards.....I know I get upset when I do bad, and I work on that and must say I'm better than I used to be. Not good, but better.  No one needs to tell me that.....unfortunately I know it's a weakness of mine.

Yes,...like I said above, I am competitive and get frustrated when I perform way below what I should....it's a weakness and I know it...

Try this Jeff I think it will help you.  When I leave a ten pin and miss it I don't let it bother me.  I just say whatever and go on

My 2 cents:   You are shooting the 10 from the wrong angle.   the 3rd arrow is way to far right, and even a spare ball will read the lane from that angle.   I am assuming that you are bowling on THS which means you should be shooting the 10 from AT LEAST 4th arrow.   Utilize the whole lane and allow the pattern to help you make the spare.   The increased angle will increase your spare %.

Dragon....thanks....funny thing is, I'm not leaving 10 pin after 10 pin after 10 pin.....my original post does come across that way but it's not the way it's going.

I'm just missing them when I leave them.........I had 5 or 6 last night in the set which if fairly normal, but missed all but one...

thanks Jason....probably allows for more room for error too! Wierd...I just recently went to 3rd arrow and I was just nailing every 10 pin..and in the last few weeks it's been slipping away !  Maybe a move left will help....thanks again

It's not so much my plastic ball is breaking, ...but I'm missing on the angle thru the 3rd dot...usually missing left...straight left, not the spare ball breaking...but sometimes I'll toss it in the drink too !

2 more cents:   if you are missing an angle but hitting a spot-  my past experience tells me that your feet are tooooooooo  fast.   your feet are getting to the line ahead of the ball, therefore you have to "pull" through the shot- missing left, OR if you don't catch up by "pulling" then you are late and "sometimes miss it in the drink".    Either way a move left will allow for more margin of error.  

Also-  take and turn your whole body toward the 10.  Pretend the foul line is on an angle- stay square to the "angled" foul line.  This will project the ball on the intended path.

OK, that maybe more than 2 cents.    

No charge for the lesson, though.    Maybe I should coach and not bowl????

I'm frustrated with my spare shooting, not with life, which you appear to be because the only thing you ever have to say on this board is negative, so ...go back under the rock from which you came!
