Title: What to do with a loud group of people?
Post by: MikeCL on August 31, 2014, 11:22:34 PM
A place where I have been bowling for awhile seems to always put me next to a group of people, and this past night it was a group of about 6 players who were extremely loud.. I mean I can understand having fun and whatever but I don't know it just seemed way over the top..

Now tomorrow they don't open until 12 PM but I'm thinking about going right when they open in hopes I can get a little bit of more concentration in, I don't know if it's standard with most centers or what.

You can be asked to be put in a spot where you can practice. Or you can ask the loud group of people if they could keep the volume down.

I personally welcome the noise, it helps me practice on focusing on my inner realm and not the outside distractions.

I thought I could be used to it because my neighbors are loud and I got used to tuning them out but it was just too much.

when a center is busy and i get put next to loud obnoxious open bowlers i take that practice as mental game practice.

Not really anything else you can do in that type of situation.
