Rubber - AMF 3 dot classic
Urethane - LT-48
Reactive - Can't remember

LT-48 was a soft rubber ball with a special additive, crushed walnut shells. It was another one of those "whoops" moments that lead it to greatness.

As I've heard the story, Brunswick was trying to developed a low cost ball and used this special ingredient as a cheap filler. When to test it and found that it was a monster in oil.

I have one sitting in my garden that still bleeds oil to this day on a hot day!

Some of you all might have thrown a "particle" long before you knew it.    The original JP LT-48 had some grit in it.

Yeah, My dad had one. I threw it once or twice.

Rubber/Plastic: Black Beauty

Urethane: Wine Rhino

Reactive: Turbo X

I can remember at that time, seemingly everyone at our house had a turbo X.  I think a few of them still throw them today

We had a guy who was just crushing us in pot games after bowling with his LT-48.  Someone finally picked it up and I think it weighed around 18 lbs.  Seems he was soaking it in some substance that added weight and scores.  We never saw him again.
