Whats your highest score with Spare Ball?
« on: June 11, 2008, 06:07:53 PM »
The lanes were completely burnt out when i bowled earlier so I decided to bowl with my plasitc spare ball (Columbia White Dot). Suprisingly, it hooked a little and I ended my final two games of 216 and 240, my highest ever. Who says you need a aggressive reactive ball? =P

shot 712 one night during a league with my Maxim.  This particular night, our team had wrapped up the league already and were having a "drinking" night.  This particular house always had a super wall shot with really strong outsides/backends.  The same night, my teammate shot a 300, 760 with his cow viz-a-ball.

I shot a 752 series during league on a pair they either forgot to oil or the machine ran out. I did it using a Lanehawk Clear Alien.

300-244-267=811

Columbia Black Knight in the late 80's.  Left a pocket 7-10 in the ninth frame of the last game or it could have been a lot more.

I just recently began throwing one game of every practice session with just my WD.  So far I have a 214 and a 208.  It is a great method to help with focus and shot repitition.

290 with an A.M.F. plastic BOOGIE ball, the bright pink one.  One night when everything was flying, I made the remark that, "If I had a da*n plastic ball, I would throw that".

Wouldn't you know, a friend had this one that fit me, so I threw it.  Left a ringing tenpin the first frame, then struck out.

First two games with resin were 150-170 ish

Lane #1 clear diamond...
279 sanctioned
289 not sanctioned

Both were on a fresh house wall.
I am a stroker by definition...just slowed it down and rolled it right up the wet/dry line (which is the 7th/8th board at this house).

I have two 300's with my Columbia White Dot. The first of which I shot against Chris Loschetter when I was 14.
