Big backend gets generated when the ball speed gets the ball thru the heads without burning off too much energy.

The biggest backending ball I have is the one that clears the heads the eaisest and has a nice high RG...the Ice Blue PowerGroove drilled 5-1/2 x 5.

So the ball you are looking for will most likely have a higher RG with a polished pearl resin coverstock.

The G-3 Gryphon is a huge flipper on the backend.  The Green Gargoyle for a $140 ball is a huge flipper as well.  USUALLY...the biggest backend ball are going to balls that are pearl covers with an aggressive core.  I am sure some people will come on here and say the Doom Raw Hammer.

pinkillernick,

Your statement in that diff numbers play into backend results is only partially true.  The diff number has more to do with flare potential than backend.  I have known of bowling balls with diff numbers half of the .073 you mentioned that corner as hard as anything out there.  Another point...is that a ball can over flare too early due to the high diff numbers and cause a puke reaction on the backend (literally no backend at all).

EX:  The Centaur has a diff number of .015 and has only 3 inches of flare potential.  The Immortal has a diff number of .078 and has over 7 inches of flare potential.

Summary.......there is more relationship of differential numbers to flare than backend.
