I was curious if urethane users see a notable difference in 1. board coverage and 2. shape (or both) between different layouts with the same ball? What have you seen with different pin-to-PAP between e.g. 2 pitch blacks or 2 purple hammers? Or even pin down and pin up for the same type of urethane ball?

Speed dominate players will generally see little to no difference in layouts.
Rev dominate players may see slight differences, by a board or so or pin carry.

The real key with multiple urethane balls is different surface prep on each ball to have any kind of meaning difference in reaction.
