CEO of Lucky Strike Lanes, Steven Foster, works undercover at his business.  Tonight on CBS.

Must be a chain of houses somewhere.

It''s a Bar with bowling. Don''t always need bowling shoes.
Some food, games and bowling. Hook and more hook.
Steven walks the streets.

Perfect example of an owner who has no clue about bowling.

Not that what he runs are bowling alleys though, those were bar/nightclubs with a few lanes. It was as much of a pool hall as bowling alley.

I did get a laugh when it became obivious that he had never considered actual leagues though.

In those establishments, bowling is just part of the "experience". It's more about having a good time, and is not oriented toward actual bowlers. There definitely is a place for those establishments in the right cities.

In a sense, they aren't set up for leagues by design, but in bad economic times, this lack of guaranteed income can be a major negative.
