Title: Which foot?
Post by: rabbit_sla on January 19, 2004, 06:29:11 PM
I have been bowling for a few years and not asked anyone this question yet.  I would like to know what foot you use when lining up on your shot.  For me, rh, I line up my right foot with a specific dot and adjust when necessary using the same foot.

I line up using both feet.  Making minor adjustments with either foot.  Normally I will use one or the other as a reference guide to where I am standing on the approach.

Im a correct sider..I mean righty, and I line up with my left foot. My right foot is just kind of...there...doesnt matter where it is as long as my sliding foot (left) is in the right spot.

I agree with the Kid, line up with the sliding foot, either the side or the toe, so you can relate your starting position to your ending position at the foul line.  --  JohnP
