Cornhusker State Game Gold Medal
« on: July 21, 2006, 04:22:57 AM »
I entered into the Cornhusker State Game that I have done for many of year about 9 or 10 Scratch singles and people come from all over the state to bowl in the games.  I was lucky that it was at the house I bowl at in the winter started off with a 243 then dropped a little to a 223 and finished with a 197 and qualitied 2nd. So I had to bowl the 3rd place finisher it was close a 197 to my 215, now bowling for the gold and started off with the first 6 strikes and finished with a 248 to a 186 this is my 8th medal but my only gold medal.  Did it with a new radar lock from AMF and I use it more now then my ONE.

Congrats!!!!  I know Sun Valley really well.  My relatives live in Lincoln and bowl out in Sun Valley.  I still remember the day walking into the center and seeing the HUGE banner for Jeremy Sonnenfeld.  My fondest moment was when Bill Straub (Coach of University) approached me after I subbed one night and asked me to try out for the team.  That was back in 1992.
