im shocked, 12 years old shot a 300

i was practicing today and i was invited to play with others.

the guy was very accurate, throwing a blue Vibe with a 45degree layout, playing 15 to 5. every shot was perfect only the first shot in the 10th frame was little bit high but still carried, then he just finish it off as a professional. The first 300 i ve seen in my life, i just shot a 199 with him that game (me trying a terminal velocity with sarge eastern grip)

i think hes the youngest in the city to shot 300, even tho was practice, the lanes were freshed oiled (we were the first persons to play on the lanes).

has anyone seen a younger guy shot 300?

I saw a 12 year old shoot 300-794 before in my first year of college at a local league.  He was using a 14lb Colossus and he throws the ball better than any adult bowler in the entire house, even at that age.

On a side note, isn't it sarge easter grip not sarge eastern? Maybe I'm wrong.

It's not surprising.  Our center gives youth bowlers 3 games a day free if they join the Saturday youth league.  Plus some some bowl the High School program at 14 years of age.  They also get some coaching.  Figure 20 games a week or more and coaching they should bowl a lot better than many people that only get 3 games a week.  Some kids have top line equipment and know how to use it.  A lot of the learning that many bowlers had to do over time now is compressed into a short time frame.

i havent witnessed anyone under the age of 12 shoot 300 but me and a friend both shot 300's back to back while open bowling 3 years ago which puts me at 14

ehh, the guy had more hand than me (im 22) and very accurate

btw, he competed internationally so it was about time to get a 300
