One go to ball - C300 Smack Down or Storm Hy-Road (original)

If you had only one ball to bring to league play, given the two, would you go w/ the Smack Down or the original Hy-Road?

Any other considerations for a one stop, do it all okay, ball?

Come on man, in a vaccum, I'd only throw a Hyroad. The OP said these two balls. The Smackdown is cute, little ball, but let's bw honest, its no Hyroad. I've had 4 Hyroads  and got another case as a Christmas gift. This ball is like the perfect woman.

And in a vacuum we would all live in a perfect world. The key to this thread is he's asking for opinions, which is what I gave. I have thrown both balls and scored well with both,and right now my opinion is that the Smackdown is a little sexier. You can't go wrong choosing the Hyroad, I just gave my opinion like you did. I just like the SD better right now.

Sorry for hijacking your thread a little, this will be my last back and forth with NF28 on this.

Those were the two I was considering.  Hyroad seems to be a long running truck that is versatile and is time proven, but the smack down seems to be about the same in reviews.  I'm getting back into bowling after a 10yr hiatus so will only be getting one ball for now.  Currently only have my old "swamp monster" from 10-12 yes ago.  Thinking medium action for now and look into more ball for my next purchase.  I'm a tweener w/ avg speed and rotation, figured one of these balls could work in all situations with adjustment.

(Faints @ thought of Swamp Monster) My vote again is for the Hyroad,  its without question,  one of the best balls ever made.  The "whatever-down" is just another ball. Its not special. 5 years from now we wont even speak or thin k of it

Thanks all for the input.  Going with the hyroad.  Probably would've done well with either but more love for the hyroad here gets my purchase.  Thanks for the feedback!
