Great response Righty.  There is nothing wrong with a little banter and bragging, I've done it myself.  If we kept this site on the straight and narrow, there would be few posters and readers.  We add our personalities to our post along with our questions and responses.  But the bottoom line, is we all have knowledge and experiences to share.

And no, I don't know how to spell and when I use the spell checker it erases the posts I just typed.  This darn new computer, haven't figured it out yet.

After reading the OP's subsequent posts, I stand by my post.  If you are as "experienced" as you say, you should know what these balls are going to do based on the specs and how you drill it.  Cut it out.
Long Gone also posts the honest truth which is why i respect him. He posts these things knowing some may not like it.

It was never a question of its being a good question or not. It was a question of not knowing what he was asking, since the amount of "POTENTIAL" hook a ball can have is totally irrelevant in today's bowling environment. Unlike the urethane days, which ended 20 years ago, the amount of oil a ball can handle is not related to how much it hooks.

I believe that many people who criticized his question (and not him personally) just wanted to know what he was asking.
