Adjusting surfaces for tournaments
« on: August 09, 2009, 08:37:54 PM »
I'm a stroker with 250-275 RPM. 16 MPH ball speed. Good axis rotation. PAP is 4 1/2 over, 3/8 up. Here's what I have with layouts, need some suggestions for tournaments. They can be house shots, but have also been sport shots and PBA patterns.

Break Point - 4 1/2" pin to PAP, pin in bridge. MB 5 1/4" pin to PAP.
S-75 - 5 1/4" pin to PAP, pin in bridge. MB 4 1/2" to PAP.
Sure Strike - 4" pin to PAP, pin over fingers.
Secret Agent - 4 1/2" pin to PAP, pin under fingers.
Burn - 5 1/4" pin to PAP, pin over bridge.
Hy-Road - 4 1/4" pin to PAP, pin over fingers.

And two balls to keep in the car, for the extremes:

Mega Friction - 4 1/4" pin to PAP, pin over fingers.
Link - 4" pin to PAP, pin under fingers.

What surfaces should I put these balls at for tournaments? Want to have all the bases covered. Thanks.
