shaking the rust...
« on: March 08, 2005, 11:58:39 PM »

ugh, last night was an adventure.  Gotta love it when the first night of league in months starts out with a 10-pin (whiffed, channel), 3-6-10 (chop the 3 off and leave the 6-10) and then convert the 2-8-10.  Followed that up with a four-count washout.  Timing finally started coming back around the middle of the third game when I went back to 5th arrow...

'bones, if it wasn't for Queens coming up, I wouldn't even be messing with a league.  Tulsa is still more than two months away...that is plenty of time to get the kinks worked out.  (And at Queens, we'll have more than a couple of shots before the lights come on )

I was mildly amused at the only mark in the first three frames having been the 2-8-10 (which I almost covered again four frames later).  There were elements of rust and having to absolutely kill the ball to keep it in play.  Everything I had in the bag (including the Sonic X) were too strong...next week the Gold Grenade gets put back into the mix.
