I'm in a league that gives a ball as a gift at the end, so I need to choose a ball next week. My choices are as follows;
Ebonite Game Breaker, Bruns. BVP Sidewinder & Mammoth I've already decided the Mammoth is not needed due to owning a heavy oil ball. So it's between the Game Breaker & Sidewinder any opinions would be helpful.

When the pins start throwing stuff back I'll quit bowling.

What do you want the ball to do? Recation-wise I think it is quite a dead race between the Sidewinder and Game Breaker (both rather arcing for medium to medium-heavy conditions with option for lighter conditions with polish), even though I think the Sidewinder would be a more durable solution. PK18 is a very durable cover, while the GB10.7 needs much maintenance and oil extrcation to prevent ball death.

dizzy, the shell of the sidewinder is particle pearl, not PK18
the particle pearl in the sidewinder will be way more versitile than the gamebreaker

If I could choose, I'd pick the Gamebreaker.

It's still got a PK18 base like most of the Brunswick particles. Given that, I'd definitely go with the Sidewinder, PK18 is practically indestructible.
