A Weird Bowling Day
« on: August 17, 2008, 03:58:25 PM »
So, yesterday was our last league day for the summer and it was just for fun.  It was 9-pin no tap.  I bowled 6 games I believe and it wasn't until the fourth game I left a single 9-count, and I left about 8 of them in the next three games.  But I started off with no practice and struggled a bit, worked out a 205, stringing the last 5, followed by my second real 300 ever, then a 254 for a 759 series.  That's my highest series as well, so I feel pretty accomplished.  Just thought I'd share.

nice series, I got another week for last league day for summer league and then its time for some fun, hopefully there will be a good amount of oil.

I got lucky today in position week and shot 641, after missing all of practice. Shot 244 the 2nd game, had a chance at 290, but in my 6th frame, I threw a great shot and 6 pin moved over to the 10 pin spot and didn't go down and then I spared and left a pocket 7-10 in the 10th

Yeah, I'm more happy about my 300 than the series, but the series is great too.  This is at a center at which I used to struggle to average 180-190 before this summer.
