15LB and Wrist Support VS 14LB and No Glove
« on: January 14, 2007, 10:41:31 PM »
ok, i want some opinions. in an effort to get something on the ball (nickname no hand) i tried bowling without my pro release glove. i bowled better the first time. after second time i developed a tremendous pain in my shoulder which wouldn't allow me to bowl friday. i went to a chiropractor and he helped. drilled a 14LB power groove reactive. using without glove i could get more on ball (which was nice) but ball really doesn't have much to give with weak core (also it was weak drilling as all was done is new thumb slug). anytime i went slightly high i got a split. i could not break anything up. the question is should i drill up a better 14lb and continue to try or be forever a glove user. the reason i want to give up glove is that my home center is wood that never has clean stripped back ends or much head oil. my ball burns up front and skids at end. i need to get more on ball to score. HELP!
