Brunswick pours Radical and dV8
Storm Pours Roto and tricolored balls from global900 (Respect, Moxie and both Dreams)
EBI pours Ebonite, Hammer, Track, Columbia 300
Visionary is Independent
Motiv(TechLine) independent
Global 900 pours their 2 colored balls and Amf, also they pour Seismic and Lane1(dont know if the latest releases too), they are pouring some lower end stuff from storm(have drilled a few wipe outs from Global)
Lane masters/legends independent
Jet Bowling allegedly is poured by Via Bowling products  but I have heard some balls were poured in S.A(Global900), but to be honest Im not sure!
LordField IDK, to me they look like if they were poured by Lanemasters/legends
Pyramid independent overseas

Jet Bowling started out being poured by Via, then had some poured by 900 Global, and then EBI.  It's constantly changing for them.

LordField is independant and took on Lanemasters/Legends after they folded.  IIRC

Well, want to talk obscure brands?  Then don't forget Bill Hall's "Blend10" brand, poured by 900 Global.

Not trying to be a Richard...but what difference does it really make who makes/pours what ball? Unless you are signed to a staff, find a ball that works for you and stick with it. I have bowled well with Storm balls, especially their hybrids. But that hasn't stopped me from trying Motiv, Radical, Brunswick, Global900, Columbia300, and even Elite over the years. I have had success with some, not-so-much with others. I have never worried about who made ball, just if the specs match what I am looking for that ball to do, and then does it translate into that on the lanes.

It makes zero difference, but it's nice to know.

Exactly, it doesn't matter but some will find it interesting especially those that are new.  There are so many brands out there, but not many manufacturers.

The cores used in the last couple releases by jet were ebonite cores...anyone notice that like the propulsion..

Genesis is become much less obscure in this area, but then the guys who run it are located here. LOL

I own three of the four Genesis balls myself and love them. They have a good product, but it remains to be seen if they can survive going toe to toe with the deep pockets of the major players.

Lord Field is owned by a Korean millionaire. Their factory is in Korea; they were selling balls there and probably in other Asian countries, long before they started marketing their product in the US. They bought the Lane Masters name and opened up a factory to manufacture them in Stockton, CA. So Lane Masters is still made in the same town the were originally made in.

I'm kind of surprised that since LF andf LM are both owned by the same company that they have not yet started making Lord Field balls in the Lane Masters plant.

I noticed it and even said something to Ron Hickland when I saw the Vital Sign core in the Propulsion. I forgot his exact reply but it was something like "You have good eyes".

Yeah, that's why I mentioned (or corrected) the other post that Jet started out overseas with Via, then 900, and now EBI.  I think they've gone back and forth on a few releases, but I stopped throwing Jet after the Maximum Altitude Pearl (which was a great ball poured by 900 Global).

Wes Mallot along with the other big name tour players from Storm/Roto Grip are allowed to use balls from either company because Storm is the parent company of Roto Grip.
