I bowl for the 408 baby.  The area code?  Nope.  The size of the side pot?  Nope.  That was my total tonight.  129-147-132.  Awesome.  I guess i was only 147 off average.  Somehow my team still won all three games and total pins to bring us up another two spots in the standings.  But geez...That is the worst series I have ever bowled in a pretty long time.  

The best part was in warm ups i threw 10 frames.  9 strikes, and one 9 pin leave.  I guess that striking just left me once the game started.

Bowling makes me feel stupid.  I don't know of anything else I do that frustrates me so much that I want to quit.  Yet there I am the next day, waiting to take a lickin from the 2-8-10.

Some of my worst series have been after stringing strikes in practice.  It used to be the kiss of death.  I don't know if I relaxed too much or tightened up or what.  Even now, if I find a great line, I'll look for something else.  Try a different line, different ball, practice corner pins...
