Heh whenever I ask a coaching related question no one answers.  It's funny how everyone knows everything until you ask a simple question.

"As long as it's used for help and not making fun of someones game, than I think it will be good."

You won't see these type of comments form the true coaches.  As a USBC Bronze level coach, I believe a coaching forum would be great.  Even Tiger Woods uses a coach.

I think people have followed the rules in the bowling videos forum pretty well.  People are usually very constructive on there...

Jeff,

I think a coaching forum would be great idea.

I've worked with Lyle Zikes, who is a Silver Level Coach, and an all around great guy. (I'm sure you know Lyle and Les).

Coaching with video analysis is great...
Bowler gets to see what they are ACTUALLY doing...
Not what they THINK the are doing.

I will get that picture to you for your web site.

Video analysis I hear is sort of a man thing!

A woman teaching other woman to golf has made quite a career of disparaging that practice for woman.  (I know this does not apply to all).  Just interesting I thought!

I like the idea too!

In fact it be great if BR.com had a "Coaches Corner" where bowling coaches would be able to post a coaching article that would include topics such as, but not limited to: the mental game, fitness, practice drills, equipment/balls, state of affairs with pro and amateur bowling.

I'd be interested in this, especially getting tips on how to better coach youth bowlers.  I coach saturday youth league in my bowling center.

Sounds like a great idea! However, it would need to have "something" in addition to or better than all the existing coaching/guidance/tips/videos already on the internet.

Numerous sites provide bowling guidance, information and suggestions from a group of great coaches.

The best coaching comes from one on one coaching while on the lanes. That means you (the bowler) must have the coach right on the lane with you, analyzing the video right after you bowl, pointing out what you should be doing and helping you do it.

I don't know how that can be accomplished via Ballreviews.com.
